2026 National HUBZone Conference

Matchmaking Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The 2026 National HUBZone Conference is introducing a new approach to networking and matchmaking through Proximity Intel, an innovative AI-powered platform developed by Absolute GIS.

Unlike traditional matchmaking programs that rely on fixed schedules created weeks in advance, Proximity Intel is designed to be dynamic and flexible, allowing attendees to discover opportunities as the conference unfolds. The platform is intended to facilitate meaningful, "on-the-cuff" networking by helping attendees identify organizations they may not have otherwise considered meeting.

Using artificial intelligence, Proximity Intel analyzes your company profile—including your capabilities, products and services, NAICS codes, certifications, industries served, procurement interests, and business objectives—to recommend organizations that align with your business goals. The platform helps attendees search participating companies, Government agencies, Prime Contractors, exhibitors, and fellow attendees while providing AI-generated suggestions for potential teaming partners and business connections.

Beginning July 17, the full functionality of the platform will become available. Attendees will be able to:

  • Search participating organizations
  • Explore Government agencies and Prime Contractors
  • View exhibitors and attendee profiles
  • Receive AI-generated networking recommendations
  • Build a personalized wish list of organizations they would like to meet
  • Familiarize themselves with the platform before arriving at the conference

Please note that matchmaking appointments will not begin being scheduled until July 21, when attendees arrive on-site at the conference.

Our Matchmaking360 Team will use the information provided through Proximity Intel—including attendee profiles, buyer requirements, company capabilities, and participant wish lists—to help facilitate meaningful introductions and build matchmaking appointments throughout the conference. This approach allows us to accommodate real-time schedule changes, incorporate late registrations, and create stronger business matches based on the most current information available.

Your most important action item today is to create your Proximity Intel account and complete your company profile. The more complete your profile is, the more effectively the AI can recommend organizations that match your capabilities and interests, helping you maximize your networking and business development opportunities during the conference.

We encourage all attendees to explore the platform beginning July 17, build their networking wish lists, and arrive prepared to take advantage of this new AI-powered approach to business matchmaking.
