On this significant occasion of Labor Day, a day that pays homage to the relentless dedication of the American workforce and the remarkable contributions they make to our nation's prosperity, we are filled with immense pride and excitement. It is our privilege to introduce a truly special release – the Trailblazer edition, a tribute to the unsung heroes of our society: the caregivers, whose selflessness mirrors the spirit of the labor force we honor today.

Just as the labor force forms the backbone of our economy and way of life, caregivers epitomize the essence of sacrifice, compassion, and resilience. This year, we are deeply grateful to our esteemed sponsors, Constellation Energy and Contemporary Graphics DBA RondoPak, whose unwavering support ensured the realization of this special edition, unveiled in hard copy at the prestigious 2023 National HUBZone Conference.

This edition was of particular importance to the Council, as two of our caregivers, Kathleen Sober and Candance Waterman, are no longer with us. However, their legacy and impact live on through those they have supported. As you read through their articles, we encourage you to consider donating to scholarship programs established in honor of these two amazing women.
