About Matchmaking360

Matchmaking360™ is a strategic engagement initiative developed by the HUBZone Contractors National Council to expand access to federal contracting opportunities for HUBZone-certified small businesses by creating structured, sector-focused connections with government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners.

Our mission is to ensure HUBZone firms gain meaningful visibility, build direct relationships with buyers, and position themselves for participation across the core industry sectors that make up the federal contracting ecosystem.

Matchmaking360™ reflects the Council’s commitment to continuously improving how we serve our members by developing scalable platforms that create real, measurable business development opportunities. Over the course of the year, the Council will host a series of virtual Industry Days focused on key federal contracting sectors, including IT/Cybersecurity, Construction, Manufacturing, and other mission-critical areas.

How Matchmaking360 Works

Each Matchmaking360™ session is hosted virtually via Zoom in a structured, moderated format designed to maximize efficiency and exposure for participating HUBZone firms.

Unlike traditional one-on-one matchmaking sessions, Matchmaking360™ uses a rotating capability briefing format. Participating small businesses are brought into the session one at a time to present a brief overview of their capabilities, core competencies, certifications, and past performance to a room of multiple government and prime contractor buyers simultaneously.

This format allows buyers to efficiently evaluate multiple qualified HUBZone suppliers in a single session while providing participating firms with valuable visibility and direct access to key decision-makers.

Participation and Selection Process

Participation is limited to eight (8) HUBZone-certified small businesses per session to ensure each company receives focused attention and adequate time to present.

Please note the following participation guidelines:

• Participation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis

• Priority will be given to member companies whose services most closely align with the buyers attending the session

• Companies not initially selected will be placed on a 48-hour standby list

• If a cancellation occurs, standby companies will be contacted in order of registration and offered the opportunity to participate

• Companies not selected will receive priority consideration for participation in future Matchmaking360™ sessions within the same industry sector

Companies selected to participate will receive a calendar invitation, detailed presentation instructions, and guidance on how to effectively position their capabilities during the session.
