October Advocacy Briefing

This month, Congress will once again return to their districts for one final campaign push ahead of the midterm elections. Before they left town, lawmakers continued to grapple with a must pass legislative vehicle to fund the government through FY27. Upon their return, they’ll also be faced with NDAA talks. The Republican Party will be faced with one of two realities, whether they keep or lose their majority in the House or Senate, and what that means for the remainder of President Trump’s term.
