Construction Webinar Series: The Infrastructure Bill’s Impact on DOT’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program

After months of negotiations, the House passed a more than $1 trillion infrastructure bill on November 5, 2021. Once signed by President Biden, the bill will put billions in new funding into upgrading the nation’s transportation and utility infrastructure. But how will the bill’s passage impact large and small construction contractors participating in the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program?

DOT’s DBE Program offers opportunities for small businesses, owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, Tribes, and Alaska Native Corporations, to participate on federally assisted highway, transit, and aviation projects.

If you’re a small contractor in the DBE Program, a large contractor working with a subcontractor in the DBE Program, or considering entry into the DBE Program, you don’t want to miss this webinar where PilieroMazza attorneys Jackie Unger and Anna Sullivan—members of the Firm’s Government Contracts Group—provide an overview of the DBE Program and breakdown the bill’s impact on DBEs.
