In late 2020, the Department of Defense (DoD) will require all DoD companies to have a cybersecurity certification called a Cybersecurity Maturation Model Certification (CMMC). This certification has five levels, and your certification level will depend on your company s cyber hygiene. To work with classified information, you must have a CMMC Level of 3- which is most easily achieved if you are currently DFAR 252.204-7012 compliant. If you are not certified when the CMMC is activated, you will not work with the DoD. This workshop will provide awareness of the CMMC, DFAR 252.204-7012, and give you tips on how to utilize the NIST SP 800-171 (the DFAR compliance tool) to ensure your company is prepared for the future CMMC requirements. This free, virtual workshop is for current DoD contractors and subcontractors, as well as anyone interested in working with the DoD.
