The HUBZone Contractors National Council was proud to recognize Angela Terry at the 2019 National HUBZone Conference as the Small Business Champion of the Year. There are over 4,500 Federal government contracts being awarded annually. The constant growth of the Federal acquisition community and technology and the need for consistent training, oversite, enforcement, and reform is required to educate the community on Small Business Subcontract requirements and practical applications. In her role, as the Subcontracting Program Manager for the U.S Small Business Administration, Ms Terry has been instrumental in leading initiatives to promote subcontracting enforcement and reform.

DLA: Land and Maritime
The HUBZone Contractors National Council was proud to recognize DLA Land & Maritime at the 2019 National HUBZone Conference as the HUBZone Agency of the year.
In 2018, DLA accounted for approximately 54% of the total number of HUBZone Set Aside contracts solicited. Of that DLA Land and Maritime accounted for 38% . Because of the hard work and dedication from members of the DLA Land and Maritime team over 60 different companies received HUBZone Set Aside contracts.

U.S Air Force
The HUBZone Contractors National Council was proud to recognize the U.S Air Force at the 2019 National HUBZone Conference for their Inaugural Air Force Pitch Day. The Air Force awarded 51 contracts to companies with a total initial value of $8.75 million in a matter of minutes at their Inaugural Air Force Pitch Day event held on March 6 to 7, 2019, in New York City.
